The posting

Location: Aljunied

Salary: Up to S$4,000

Working Days: Monday–Friday

Working Hours: 44 hours per week, rostered between 7:00am and 7:00pm

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities in line with the preschool curriculum.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports children's learning and development.
  • Observe, assess and document children's learning progress and developmental milestones.
  • Guide children in developing good habits, social skills, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and provide updates on children's progress and well-being.
  • Prepare learning materials and maintain a clean, hygienic and organised classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, classroom activities, school events and programmes.
  • Ensure children's safety, hygiene and overall well-being.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or an equivalent qualification recognised by ECDA.
  • Valid ECDA L1 or L2 certification.
  • Passionate about early childhood education, with patience and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Relevant preschool teaching experience is an advantage.
  • Entry Level welcome to apply.
