Join a multidisciplinary engineering environment focused on the development of advanced satellite telecommunications payloads. In this role, you will contribute to the design, integration, and testing of digital communications systems that support next-generation satellite solutions. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and integration specialists to validate subsystem performance and ensure reliability throughout the development lifecycle. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with a foundation in telecommunications, radio frequency (RF) systems, and digital signal processing who enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You will contribute to requirements analysis, verification activities, troubleshooting, and continuous performance improvement. The role offers the opportunity to strengthen your expertise in satellite communications while helping deliver sophisticated space-based technologies.

Accountabilities

  • Support the design, integration, and testing of satellite telecommunications payload systems.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of digital communications architectures.
  • Conduct subsystem testing, technical analysis, and troubleshooting to assess system performance, reliability, and compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and integration teams throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
  • Assist with requirements analysis, system verification, validation activities, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze test results, identify potential improvements, and support ongoing optimization of payload performance.
  • Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and support technical decisions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in space systems, satellite communications, telecommunications, or a related engineering field.
  • Foundational knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP), radio frequency (RF) systems, and telecommunications architectures.
  • Experience performing or supporting satellite subsystem testing.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to obtain the security clearance required for the position.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience with satellite payload development, integration, or verification; familiarity with digital communications, RF testing, and systems engineering principles; previous exposure to aerospace or satellite communications environments; and knowledge of satellite payload architectures and subsystem integration.
  • Work arrangement: The position is based in Montreal, Quebec, with on-site work preferred. Remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates. Applicants based in Canada, the United States, or Europe may be considered, subject to applicable work authorization and security clearance requirements.
  • Competitive compensation: Salary or compensation package to be determined based on skills and experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
