Job Title: Assistant Manager - Federal Form 1120 Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail - oriented Assistant Manager to support our team in the preparation and filing of Federal Form 1120 for corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. business tax compliance and a proven track record in managing client engagements. Roles & Responsibilities • Form Preparation & Compliance : Lead the preparation and review of Federal Form 1120 for various corporate clients, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. • Project Management : Support service implementations from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and oversight of tax compliance projects related to Form 1120. • Client Advisory Services : Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations, including guidance on tax provisions, credits, and accounting for income taxes (ASC 740). • Engagement Management : Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring high - quality service delivery. • Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring effective engagement workflows. • Financial Oversight : Monitor financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets, providing consulting support to engagement managers. • Complex Tax Projects : Oversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects requiring in - depth tax analysis for various corporate structures and their affiliates. • Collaboration : Work closely with multi - disciplinary teams to leverage industry knowledge and identify new opportunities for business growth. • Quality Assurance : Enforce KPMG standards of quality and compliance throughout all aspects of service delivery. Qualifications & Experience• Education : CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) / ICWA with Enrolled Agent certification. • Experience : Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in U.S. Business Tax, with at least 5 years in a Big 4 consulting firm. • Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of Federal Form 1120 requirements, tax provisions, and ASC 740. • Project Management : Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements and leading teams effectively.
