TAX Services Team delivers quality tax solutions to public and privately owned middle - market companies, not - for - profit organizations, and high net worth individuals. Responsibilities : Participate in client engagements by providing individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues. Preparation and reviewing of tax returns and accompanying work papers for a variety of return types, focusing particularly on Individual Taxation, with proficiency in 1040, 1041, 99 0, or 5500. Support Tax Staff in delivering including coaching and reviewing their work. Proficiency in CCH Axcess Software and SurePrep tools. Ability to learn and handle business entity tax compliance tasks effectively. Review extensions and quarterly es timates. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance or similar required. (CPA (US) preferred. If not a CPA (US), must meet educational req uirements to obtain the same upon hire). Minimum of 3 years of experience in US Taxation. Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred. Proficient in Individual Taxation and other forms - 1040, 1041, 990, or 5500. Min 2 years’ experience in preparation and 1 year in reviewing the Tax form is required. Excellent customer service skills and experience managing multiple client engagements. Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service. Strong written and verbal communic ation and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development. Ability to work overtime, as needed. Ability to travel.
