The posting

Our client is in Manufacturing Industry. They are looking for a Sales Manager for the next phrase of their business. They are located at East of Singapore– easily accessible.

Duties

  • New Business Development – Identify and acquire new customers in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries from the ground up.
  • Full-Cycle B2B Sales – Manage the entire sales process, including lead generation, technical discussions, RFQ handling, negotiations and deal closure.
  • Proactive Sales Prospecting – Conduct daily outbound sales activities through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns and onsite customer visits.
  • Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain relationships with semiconductor fabs, EMS/OEM companies, automation equipment manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers and global customers.
  • Technical & Commercial Solutions – Understand customers’ manufacturing processes and identify suitable technical and commercial solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, costing and product teams to develop competitive and technically viable proposals.
  • RFQ & Technical Review – Review RFQs, technical drawings, Design for Manufacturability (DFM) requirements and equipment specifications to support solution development and quotation preparation.
  • Market Expansion & Revenue Growth – Explore new business opportunities in Singapore and overseas markets, including Asia, the US and Europe, while driving customer acquisition and strategic account growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Business, or a related field
  • Min. 6 years of B2B technical sales experience in semiconductor, electronics, automation, or industrial equipment industries, with a proven track record in new business development (hunter sales role)
  • Experience in engineering-driven, complex, and long-cycle sales environments, particularly RFQ-based and project-based sales processes
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, EMS, automation, or industrial sales environments will be highly advantageous
