LOCATION: Winnipeg, MB                         SCHEDULE: Full-Time                                REPORTS TO: Sales and Marketing Manager DIRECT REPORTS: N/A                 PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position develops the execution of broker marketing and engagement strategies that strengthen broker relationships, improve broker capability, increase profitable submissions, and elevate Red River Mutual’s brand presence. The role also develops and delivers broker-facing communications, marketing toolkits, co-branded campaigns, training and enablement resources, and engagement initiatives aligned to broker segmentation, go-to-market priorities, product launches, appetite clarity, and organizational growth goals.   KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

Develop the broker marketing and engagement strategy, strengthening network performance through segmentation, tailored engagement plans, and initiatives that elevate broker capability and long-term partnership value. Drive strategic broker communications, ensuring all product updates, appetite changes, training messages, and marketing assets are clear, visual, actionable, and aligned with enterprise priorities. Oversee the co-op program at a strategic level, managing governance, KPI alignment, and campaign effectiveness while ensuring investments support growth, brand consistency, and measurable ROI. Oversee sponsorships, donations, and marketing merchandise, including inventory and distribution. Support go-to-market strategies for product launches and broker-facing initiatives. Develop and maintain branded graphic design assets, ensuring consistent brand standards. Advance broker training and enablement, designing learning experiences, capability-building programs, and performance tools that improve submission quality, deepen product understanding, and enhance broker proficiency. Lead creative and brand activation initiatives, developing campaigns that support appetite awareness, claims education, seasonal priorities, and community engagement while maintaining strong visual identity. Facilitate cross-functional alignment, partnering with Sales, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Leadership to coordinate communication strategies, product launches, training needs, and broker-facing initiatives. Monitor and interpret key performance indicators, providing insights on engagement, co-op ROI, training effectiveness, submission quality, product mix, satisfaction, and segment growth to inform strategic decisions. Manage and maintain ongoing updates to broker-facing digital platforms, including Broker Central and the RRMU websites. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the annual IBAM Convention & Tradeshow, including registration, tradeshow logistics, President’s Dinner, and company breakout sessions. Other duties as assigned.

  Physical Requirements:   

Extended periods of standing.   Frequent off-site attendance at events or broker functions, including travel and overtime.

Frequent periods of mobility throughout multiple floors of the office.  

Repetitive motion.  

Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects up to a maximum of 50lb

    QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:  

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, broker or partner engagement, sales enablement, or a related field. Valid class 5 driver’s license with ability to travel between offices and events as required Communication and Brand Storytelling Digital Marketing Execution Planning, Prioritization, and Time Management Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving Marketing Technology and Creative Design Capability
