Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Senior Video Producer. This role is a technical position that owns the design, development, broadcast delivery, and recording of content for the organization. This position is responsible for the various aspects of the production process including scripting, shooting, conceptual format, scheduling, and design. This work entails all internal and external Video Recordings, Video Broadcast, Training Videos, podcast, Member testimonials, collection of assets and B-roll footage. The position works in tandem with the Video Producer, IT, and business partners to consistently deliver rich video content for Members, internal team members, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production:
o Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcements, external promotions on social media, product marketing, recruiting, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects. o Plan and schedule video shoots, locations, work with talent, and all output for video catalogs and libraries. o Partner in the development, management, and maintenance of the studio environment at RCU, including existing room and future room buildouts. o Plan and perform video post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, participating in editorial decisions, video transcoding, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing in conjunction with the team. o Manage schedules to ensure projects are completed on time. o Research, analyze, and recommend new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes to provide high-quality, professional video presentations for broadcast and recording. o Participate in the long-term roadmap of video production and broadcasting processes and tools. o Identify opportunities for video broadcast or recording to further develop messaging or learning with the organization in partnership with business units. o Provide strong conceptual leadership in video. This includes creating fresh new concepts, as well as providing creative oversight to elevate concepts created by other members of the team. o Stay up to date on industry trends, new products and services, security issues, and any other information relevant to recording and broadcast systems. o Develop and maintain administrator guides, briefs, technical guides, project plans, and any other project or system related documentation for systems related to video production. o Manage the vendor relationships for each system, as needed, to ensure up-time and consistent viewer experience. o Recommend improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of studio software and hardware solutions. o Communicate with management on projects, support, and future needs planning, both verbally and in writing.
Development and Support:
o Collaborate with other creative leads, Training and Public Relations, to ensure content drives Redwood Credit Union’s brand forward and meets stated objectives. o Partner with Marketing and Public Relations to develop layouts, schemes, templates, and assets for video broadcasts and recordings. o Mentor Video Production team members, contributing to their professional growth and development. o Consult with other departments and teams on what technologies are needed to successfully meet their content needs. o Prioritize day according to outstanding work, problem resolution, and scheduled work to maintain schedule according to most important. o Ensure adherence to quality standards defined by management. o Identify and stay current with current broadcast and streaming technologies, platforms, and toolsets. o Train with vendors to support new technology or enhance knowledge of current technology.
Security:
o Employ industry security standards on storage and dissemination of data. o Ensure adequate patches and updates are applied to all systems and software. o Respond and report security issues involving hardware and software. o Apply changes as necessary in response to audit items. o Solve outstanding security issues through research and management suggested options.
Other Functions:
o Maintain technical proficiencies to support current and planned hardware, software, and network computing needs for change and growth in studio.

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of production, lighting, camera, and microphone internetworking.
- AV production experience with large audience environments to include multiple remote locations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
- Knowledge of industry practiced networking protocols, terminology, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and/ or direction.
- Ability to develop and implement video projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people, including internal clients and external vendors.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Licenses and Certifications
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science, A/V production, or closely related field and a minimum of five years’ experience performing video broadcasting and recording roles, with a minimum of three years’ experience in post-production video editing.
Compensation: Base starting range: $100,604 to $132,552 annually commensurate with experience.
Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to travel to various branches and off-site locations as needed. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time occasionally. • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, turn and drive. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
