Aftersales Service Engineer - Pumps Division (Ref: 37960) Location: West

Our client is a Germany-based trading company specialising in pump systems. As an Aftersales Service Engineer, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing after sales service support and technical expertise in fluid technology, with a focus on screw pumps. You will report to the Service Manager.

【Responsibilities】

  • Serve as the main point of contact for after sales activities, including service support, spare parts enquiries, retrofits, and equipment upgrades.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to customers.
  • Perform field service activities when required, including equipment installation, start-up, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare field service reports and follow up on potential after sales service and business opportunities.
  • Support equipment ranging from laboratory and R&D-scale systems to full-scale production machinery.
  • Provide technical support to customers across various industries, including petrochemical, chemical, plastics, and oil and gas.

【Requirements & Preferences】

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in rotating machinery, electrical instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or variable-speed control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, electrical circuit diagrams, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) drawings.
  • Willingness to travel for work and perform hands-on field service activities, including equipment troubleshooting and intervention when required.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with English- and Mandarin-speaking customers on technical matters.

(Advantageous)

  • Prior field service experience involving control systems, inverters, or industrial rotating machinery.
