ABOUT US

Reframe Systems is a Physical AI and robotics company on a mission to make high-performance housing attainable and abundant in the communities where people want to live. Through our vertically integrated delivery model and highly automated microfactories, we deliver climate-resilient homes and buildings with greater speed and predictability than traditional construction.

Our volumetric modular buildings are produced in our Andover, MA microfactory, with a growing pipeline across North America and a new microfactory on the way. We are building a system that balances repeatability with site-responsive design, enabling homes adaptable to each site, community, and customer need. Our cross-disciplinary team brings together architecture, robotics, design engineering, software, factory operations, and field delivery to change how housing gets delivered.

We’re reimagining the future of housing through a smarter and more sustainable system that empowers people to live better. Come build it with us.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Licensed Plumber (Class 2) to join our team and play a critical role across both factory and field operations. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work in a controlled factory environment to assemble modular housing systems and participate in on-site plumbing installations during project builds. You will also contribute to the design process, providing valuable input on plumbing layouts and constructability. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow their career.

RESPOPNSIBILTIES

- Perform plumbing installations in modular housing units, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas piping.

- Complete on-site plumbing connections during module installations, ensuring compliance with all codes and project specifications.

- Work closely with engineers and designers to review plumbing layouts and provide input on system specifications and constructability.

- Contribute to the development of shop drawings and ensure alignment with the Massachusetts Plumbing Code.

- Collaborate with production teams, field crews, and other trades to complete projects on time and with precision.

- Supervise and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and fostering skill development.

- Ensure all plumbing work adheres to Massachusetts Plumbing Code and Reframe Systems’ standards.

- Conduct quality checks to verify system integrity and functionality.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.

- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in both factory and field environments.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors to address challenges and propose solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Massachusetts Licensed Plumber (Class 2) license.

- 3+ years of experience as a licensed plumber, preferably in manufacturing, modular construction, or commercial/residential projects.

- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards, particularly the Massachusetts Plumbing Code.

- Proficiency in plumbing tools, equipment, and testing devices.

- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and digital plans.

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

You will have access to a pathway to achieve your Master Plumber (Class 1) license, including:

- Tuition reimbursement for Board-approved courses.

- Flexible scheduling for education and exam preparation.

- Financial support for exam and licensure fees.

- Leadership opportunities and expanded responsibilities upon licensure.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Reframe is building something real, in a physical space, with a workforce that is growing fast. The people function here is not administrative overhead — it's operational infrastructure. You'll have real ownership, real visibility, and real impact from day one.

Reframe Systems is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

If you believe you have the skills to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you don't meet 100% of the listed requirements. At this time, we are only considering candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
