About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Plant Manager to provide overall leadership for our San Luis Potosí manufacturing site, supporting an organization of approximately 100 to 200 associates.

The selected candidate will be accountable for delivering sustainable results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth, translating business strategy into operating plans and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all manufacturing operations and site support functions.
  • Deploy the annual plant strategy through clear goals, metrics, and action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, environmental, labor, and corporate requirements.
  • Champion a strong safety culture focused on prevention and continuous risk reduction.
  • Ensure production plans and customer requirements are achieved in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery.
  • Lead SQDCG performance reviews and establish timely corrective actions.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, visual management, standard work, 5S/6S, Kaizen, GEMBA, root cause analysis, and waste reduction.
  • Manage budgets, costs, margins, productivity, inventory, working capital, and capital priorities.
  • Strengthen coordination across planning, sourcing, materials, production, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Build a strong leadership team, strengthen succession planning, and develop technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Maintain an active and visible presence on the shop floor.
  • Lead cultural and operational transformation in collaboration with regional and global teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree, certifications, or specialized training in leadership, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality, operations, or supply chain are preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in machining and assembly of industrial components.
  • 5+ years leading manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading organizations of more than 100 associates is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational metrics, budgets, costs, capacity, quality, supply chain, and talent development.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cultural transformation.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required for professional communication with regional and global teams.
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
