The posting
At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Interns in Genetic Medicines & Molecular Biology teams. These groups design and develop DNA-, RNA-, and virus-based therapeutics, delivery platforms, and genetic models used to discover, evaluate, and advance next-generation genetic medicines.
These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.
When & where:
Location: Tarrytown, NY or Hawthorne, NY
Timeframe: Our internship positions are full-time and onsite from May/June-August

What you'll do:
- Work with teams that build the molecular tools behind genetic medicines — from DNA constructs to viral and non-viral delivery systems.
- Projects may include cloning and assembling DNA, designing and testing viral vectors (such as AAV), designing and synthesizing siRNA, using CRISPR gene editing, developing assays to study how RNA-based drugs work, studying immune responses to genetic medicines, and building genetic models for research.
- Most projects are hands-on lab work with data analysis; some involve chromatography and purification, or working with cell and animal models.
- Basic molecular biology skills (working with DNA and RNA, PCR, cell culture) and lab safety knowledge are helpful; some projects need more, some less.
Relevant majors: Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
Let's find out if we're a fit:
