Discover your role:

  • Design and run bench-scale cell culture studies in shaker flasks, single-use bioreactors, and glass bioreactors (2L to 15L) to screen top antibody candidates
  • Support cell line selection and develop media and feed strategies that enable clinical and commercial manufacturing
  • Prepare media, feeds, buffers, and reagents, and operate and maintain bioreactor and analytical equipment
  • Analyze data statistically and keep critical data accurate and highly organized
  • Partner with colleagues in cell line development, scale-up, purification, analytics, and manufacturing
  • Author development reports, complete electronic lab notebook entries, and review manufacturing records
  • Drive technology transfer through written process transmittals, troubleshooting, and on-site support to manufacturing campaigns in Albany, NY
  • Please note: this role requires weekend work and occasional travel to upstate NY

This role requires:

  • BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or Bio-related Engineering with 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and record keeping abilities to accurately record, analyze, and document development data
  • Contribute to lab equipment maintenance and safety to keep the working environment safe, effective, and efficient
  • Work well both independently and in a team, managing multiple projects at once
  • Strong initiative and drive to complete ambitious tasks and learn new technologies
  • Foundation of scientific or engineering knowledge from academic training or experience
  • Preferred: experience with mammalian cell culture and automation
  • Preferred: experience developing fed-batch bioreactor processes, including optimizing feeding strategies and evaluating cell culture media and feed formulations

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
