The posting

Wil jij als ervaren leidinggevende bouwen aan een oncologisch centrum dat klaar is voor de toekomst? Krijg je energie van een team dat in beweging is én van de uitdaging om zorg, mensen en organisatie met elkaar te verbinden? Dan is dit een mooie en uitdagende stap voor jou!

Binnen het Oncologisch Centrum vallen de poliklinieken Oncologie, Hematologie, Trombose en het Borstkankercentrum. De afdeling bestaat uit circa 25 fte, met onder andere doktersassistenten, DA-coördinatoren, oncologieverpleegkundigen en verpleegkundig specialisten. Je werkt nauw samen met de medisch coördinatoren en artsen.

Het team heeft een intensieve periode achter de rug met personele krapte, hoge werkdruk en veel nieuwe collega's. Juist in die periode heeft het team laten zien dat collega’s voor elkaar klaar staan, verantwoordelijkheid pakken en samen de schouders eronder zetten. Inmiddels is de situatie stabieler en is er ruimte om vooruit te kijken. Als afdelingsmanager van het Oncologisch Centrum bouw je samen met dit team aan de volgende fase van de afdeling.

Jouw rol De komende periode staat in het teken van het verder professionaliseren en toekomstbestendig maken van het Oncologisch Centrum. Belangrijke thema’s zijn:

  • Procesoptimalisatie: slimmer en efficiënter organiseren van werkzaamheden, onder andere vanuit de Lean-methodiek.
  • Taken en verantwoordelijkheden: zorgen voor duidelijkheid en goede borging, zodat de continuïteit van zorg gewaarborgd blijft.
  • Integraal capaciteitsmanagement: een goede balans tussen zorgvraag, capaciteit en personele inzet.
  • Huisvesting: bijdragen aan de toekomstige inrichting en huisvesting van het Oncologisch Centrum.

Je zorgt ervoor dat deze ontwikkelingen samen met de medewerkers worden opgepakt en daadwerkelijk landen in de praktijk.

Je bent zichtbaar op de werkvloer en weet wat er speelt. Je geeft medewerkers vertrouwen en ruimte, maar spreekt ook aan wanneer dat nodig is. Tegelijkertijd houd je overzicht en zorg je voor richting en duidelijkheid. Je brengt focus aan, maakt keuzes en zorgt dat verbeteringen daadwerkelijk van de grond komen.

Je schakelt gemakkelijk tussen medewerkers, medisch professionals en management. Je weet verschillende belangen met elkaar te verbinden, stelt kritische vragen en brengt waar nodig een ander perspectief in. Altijd met oog voor wat het Oncologisch Centrum en de zorg op langere termijn nodig hebben.

Ben jij een ervaren leidinggevende die mensgericht leiderschap combineert met overzicht en daadkracht? Heb je ervaring met leidinggeven in een complexe zorgomgeving, kun je verschillende belangen verbinden en durf je besluiten te nemen?

Wij vragen

  • Je beschikt over een afgeronde hbo-opleiding, aangevuld met een post hbo-opleiding in de richting van Management in de Zorg (of bent bereid deze te halen);
  • Je hebt meerdere jaren leidinggevende ervaring in de zorg en ervaring in de Oncologie is een pre.
