The posting

Binnen de vakgroep neurologie hebben we per direct een vacature voor een positieve en ambitieuze neuroloog. We zijn op zoek naar een teamspeler met een gezonde dosis humor en relativeringsvermogen, die het vak in de volle breedte uitoefent. Er zijn mogelijkheden tot het ontwikkelen van een aandachtsgebied. Het betreft een tijdelijke aanstelling voor 0,8 fte (8 dagdelen + diensten), met mogelijkheden tot verlenging.

In deze functie werk je in de volle breedte van de neurologie. Je bent actief op de polikliniek neurologie en hebt daarnaast ook supervisie in de kliniek en op de spoedeisende hulp. Samen met je collega’s denk je mee over hoe we de neurologische zorg binnen ons ziekenhuis verder kunnen verbeteren. Daarnaast speel je een belangrijke rol in het opleiden van arts-assistenten en co-assistenten.

Over de afdeling Neurologie Momenteel werken er 11 neurologen in de volle breedte van de neurologie, die tevens een eigen aandachtsgebied hebben. We beschikken onder meer over gespecialiseerde poliklinieken voor MS, cognitieve stoornissen, hoofdpijn, kinderneurologie, CTS en slaapstoornissen. Er werken twee Parkinson- en een MS-verpleegkundige, een Verpleegkundige Specialist (VS) en een Physician Assistent (PA) vasculaire neurologie. Er zijn 8 ANIOS en 1 of 2 AIOS (deel opleiding met het LUMC) werkzaam, die onder andere zorgdragen voor de volledige voorwachtfunctie tijdens de diensten. Hiernaast zijn er coassistenten uit het ErasmusMC en Amsterdam UMC.

De verpleegafdeling telt 36 bedden waaronder 8 bewaakte bedden op de Brain Care Unit. Jaarlijks worden hier onder andere meer dan 500 stroke patiënten opgevangen. Op de uitgebreide afdeling Klinische Neurofysiologie zijn 11 laboranten werkzaam en 2 laboranten in opleiding.

Over Reinier de Graaf In ons ziekenhuis werken circa 2620 professionals, met ruim 270 medisch specialisten verdeeld over 33 specialismen. We zijn een STZ ziekenhuis, verzorgen 21 medische (vervolg) opleidingen en diverse verpleegkundige vervolg- en medisch ondersteunende opleidingen. We werken nauw samen met ziekenhuizen in de regio.
