Ben jij een betrokken en nauwkeurige doktersassistent? Houd je van afwisseling en krijg je energie van organiseren? Dan is deze functie iets voor jou!

Wij zoeken een doktersassistente voor het oncologisch centrum op de polikliniek Oncologie, Hematologie en Trombose of het Borstkankercentrum (BKC). Je werkt op één van de twee poli’s of een combinatie daarvan. Je bent een belangrijke schakel in het zorgproces en zorgt ervoor dat afspraken en onderzoeken goed op elkaar aansluiten.

Je hebt veel contact met patiënten: telefonisch, per mail en aan de balie. Je beantwoordt vragen, doet triage en beoordeelt wanneer overleg met een arts of andere zorgverlener nodig is. Je plant afspraken en onderzoeken, bereidt spreekuren voor en regelt vervolgafspraken. Ook organiseer je alles rondom chemotherapie, zoals opnames en controles. Je houdt overzicht over het zorgtraject en stemt af met verschillende zorgverleners.

Op de polikliniek Oncologie, Hematologie en Trombose en het BKC werken we samen aan de begeleiding en zorg voor patiënten gedurende het diagnostische traject en de vervolgafspraken. Vanuit de eigen expertise van iedere poli stemmen we de zorg en begeleiding zo goed mogelijk op de patiënt af. Een persoonlijke en betrokken benadering staat hierbij centraal, met aandacht voor de behoeften en vragen van de patiënt gedurende het zorgtraject.

Je werkt nauw samen met artsen, verpleegkundig specialisten, verpleegkundigen, collega-doktersassistenten en administratief medewerkers. Je werkt zelfstandig, maar zoekt elkaar makkelijk op wanneer dat nodig is. Omdat patiënten vaak een intensief zorgtraject doorlopen, zijn rust, betrokkenheid en een goede communicatie belangrijk.

In deze functie voer je geen medisch-technische handelingen uit. De nadruk ligt op patiëntencontact, plannen, organiseren en het goed laten verlopen van het zorgproces.

Wij vragen

  • Je bent In het bezit van een (bijna) afgeronde opleiding mbo-doktersassistent of verpleegkundige;
  • Je hebt affiniteit met de oncologie en kunt dit ook motiveren.
