Als radiodiagnostisch laborant op de afdeling Radiodiagnostiek zorg je ervoor dat van patiënten de juiste beelden worden gemaakt. Deze moeten technisch goed zijn en voldoende informatie geven voor de beoordeling. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met collega’s en radiologen. Met behulp van verschillende technieken, zoals röntgenstraling en magnetische resonantie (MRI), kijk je als het ware ‘door het lichaam’.

De afdeling is 24/7 operationeel. Dat betekent dat je wisselende werktijden kan hebben en niet altijd de hele dag op dezelfde plek staat. Je werkt in een groot team waarin de sfeer goed is en waar regelmatig leuke activiteiten worden georganiseerd, zoals het ‘WK-sjoelen’, een pubquiz en het kerstontbijt.

Over de opleiding De RDL opleiding start in februari 2027 en duurt drie jaar. Je behaalt hiermee een CZO diploma op HBO niveau en bent daarna volledig opgeleid tot radiodiagnostisch laborant. Tijdens de opleiding werk je met EPA-modules: je leert stap voor stap steeds meer onderzoeken zelfstandig uit te voeren.

Na het behalen van je diploma kan jij je verder ontwikkelen tot bijvoorbeeld CT- of MRI-laborant. Je leert assisteren bij complexe interventies en patiënten in verschillende situaties ondersteunen en begeleiden. Ook andere specialisaties zijn mogelijk, zoals wanneer je een bijdrage levert aan medische interventies als Angio-laborant.

Wij vragen

  • Voor de RDL opleiding heb je een havo/vwo-diploma nodig met als eindexamenvak wiskunde. Heb je het profiel natuur en techniek of natuur en gezondheid? Dan is dat een pre. Ook met een afgeronde mbo-4 opleiding of hoger (met wis- en natuurkunde) kun je solliciteren;
