The posting

Een OCT maken, een gezichtsveldonderzoek uitvoeren of een patiënt geruststellen die het best spannend vindt. Als technisch oogheelkundig assistent (TOA) combineer je techniek met persoonlijk contact. Je voert verschillende onderzoeken uit en zorgt ervoor dat patiënten weten wat ze kunnen verwachten. Ben jij (bijna) klaar met je TOA-opleiding en zoek je een plek waar je je vak in de praktijk kunt brengen? Dan maken we graag kennis met je!

Op onze polikliniek zie je patiënten van alle leeftijden. De ene komt voor een controle, de andere voor aanvullend onderzoek of is in aanloop naar een behandeling. Je voert onder andere OCT-, biometrie- en gezichtsveldonderzoeken uit. Daarbij kijk je verder dan alleen de techniek: je beantwoordt vragen, legt uit wat je doet en stelt patiënten gerust als dat nodig is. Zo draag je bij aan betrouwbare onderzoeksresultaten én een prettige ervaring voor de patiënt.

Je werkt nauw samen met oogartsen, physician assistants, orthoptisten, optometristen, TOA’s en doktersassistenten. Samen zorgen jullie ervoor dat het spreekuur soepel verloopt en patiënten de juiste zorg krijgen. Je legt onderzoeksresultaten zorgvuldig vast in het patiëntendossier en zorgt dat de administratie op orde is.

Je gaat zelfstandig aan de slag, maar kunt altijd terugvallen op je collega’s. Binnen de polikliniek leiden we collega’s op voor verschillende functies. Je krijgt daardoor ook te maken met het begeleiden van stagiaires en kunt je kennis met anderen delen.Bij Reinier de Graaf kennen we elkaar en helpen we elkaar verder. Je maakt makkelijk een praatje met collega’s, springt bij als iemand hulp nodig heeft en er is altijd ruimte voor een grap tussendoor.
