Ben jij een zelfstandige en betrokken verpleegkundige die graag het overzicht houdt en energie krijgt van complexe chirurgische zorg? Wil je naast de reguliere verpleegkundige zorg extra verantwoordelijkheid dragen binnen een gespecialiseerd zorgpad? Dan is deze nieuwe functie als verpleegkundige Buikwandchirurgie iets voor jou!

Als verpleegkundige Buikwandchirurgie heb je een veelzijdige en zelfstandige rol. Naast de reguliere verpleegkundige zorg krijg je extra verantwoordelijkheden rondom het behandeltraject van patiënten. Je begeleidt patiënten op de polikliniek, verleent specialistische zorg in de kliniek en bent een belangrijke schakel tussen patiënten, GE-buikwandchirurgen, de kliniek en stomaverpleegkundigen.

Een belangrijk onderdeel van je functie is het casus- en dossierbeheer. Je houdt overzicht over de patiënten die naar het Buikwandhernia Centrum zijn verwezen en zorgt dat zij goed voorbereid zijn op hun consult of behandeling. Je neemt contact op met patiënten om te controleren of alle benodigde informatie, metingen en foto's aanwezig zijn. Zo zorg je dat het dossier compleet is en de chirurg over de juiste informatie beschikt.

Daarnaast verricht je op de polikliniek verpleegkundige en medisch-technische handelingen, zoals het verwijderen van hechtingen, en verleen je specialistische zorg in de kliniek. Je bent hierin een verbindende verpleegkundige die gemakkelijk schakelt tussen verschillende disciplines en weet wat er nodig is.

Het Buikwandhernia Centrum van het Reinier de Graaf ziekenhuis is een topklinisch expertisecentrum voor de (robotgeassisteerde) behandeling van complexe buikwandhernia’s. Patiënten worden vanuit het hele land verwezen. We werken samen met het LUMC bij de behandeling van hernia’s bij orgaantransplantatiepatiënten en hebben speciale aandacht voor parastomale hernia’s. We werken met de nieuwste technieken en spelen een voortrekkersrol in de ontwikkeling van nieuwe behandelmethoden.

Dit is een nieuwe functie, waardoor je veel ruimte krijgt om de rol zelf verder vorm te geven. Je denkt mee over werkprocessen, neemt initiatief en kijkt waar de zorg beter op elkaar kan aansluiten. Je krijgt daarmee de ruimte om je verpleegkundige expertise breder in te zetten en echt een eigen bijdrage te leveren aan de zorg rondom de buikwandpatiënt.

Wij vragen

  • Verpleegkundige HBO-V;
  • BIG geregistreerd;
  • Ervaring binnen de GE-chirurgie of buikwandchirurgie is een pre.
