The posting

Een ziekenhuisopname brengt vaak veel teweeg. Naast de medische zorg spelen er bij patiënten vaak levensvragen: "Hoe moet het nu verder?", "Waar vind ik de kracht om dit door te komen?" of simpelweg de behoefte om het hart te luchten. De afdeling Geestelijke Verzorging van het Reinier de Graaf Ziekenhuis helpt patiënten en hun naasten bij het vinden van innerlijke kracht in deze spannende tijden. Dit doen zij onder andere door middel van een kerkdienst die 1 x per week plaatsvindt in het vergadercentrum van ons ziekenhuis.

Om deze kerkdienst goed te kunnen organiseren, wordt de afdeling geholpen door een team vrijwilligers. Deze vrijwilligers gaan een aantal keren per week langs de verpleegafdelingen, om patiënten uit te nodigen voor de kerkdienst op zondagochtend van 9:15 uur tot 11:30 uur. Daarnaast vervoeren deze vrijwilligers op zondag de patiënten (met hun bed of in een rolstoel) van de verpleegafdeling naar de kerkdienst in het ziekenhuis en na de dienst ook weer terug naar hun kamer op de verpleegafdeling.

Ter versterking van dit vrijwilligersteam is de afdeling Geestelijke Verzorging op zoek naar nieuwe collega vrijwilligers. Voor nu zoeken we vrijwilligers die op vrijdagochtend tussen 09:30 - 11:30 uur langs de verpleegafdelingen kunnen lopen en/of op zondag in de ochtend kunnen helpen met het vervoeren van de patiënten naar en van de kerkdienst.

Heb jij een gastvrije houding, een dienstverlenend karakter en goede communicatieve vaardigheden? En wil je als vrijwilliger een betekenisvolle bijdrage leveren aan onze patiënten en ons team Geestelijke Verzorging? Dan nodigen we je van harte uit voor een kennismaking!

Wij vragen

  • Je kunt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken;
  • Kerkelijke betrokkenheid of affiniteit met het christelijk geloof is een pre;
  • Je bent lichamelijk in staat om de genoemde werkzaamheden uit te voeren;
  • Je bent minimaal 1 keer per maand beschikbaar op: en/of vrijdagochtend en/of zondagochtend en bereid om in te vallen bij afwezigheid van collega-vrijwilligers.
