As a member of our Product team, you'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to bring thoughtful, user-centered experiences to life. You'll also help evolve our growing design system, ensuring consistency and quality across our digital products.

We're looking for a data-driven, hands-on designer who enjoys experimenting, testing ideas, and using both qualitative and quantitative insights to continuously improve the patient experience.

  • The base pay range for this position is $225,000 – $300,000 per year.
  • Potential to earn equity
  • Robust and affordable Health, Dental, and Vision plan options
  • Flexible time off policy

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

What You'll Own

You'll contribute to the design and optimization of Remedy's patient-facing digital experiences, which may include:

  • Patient Experience: Designing intuitive, accessible experiences that help patients navigate their care across web and mobile platforms.
  • End-to-End Product Design: Taking user problems from initial discovery and concept development through visual design and implementation.
  • Design Systems: Contributing to the growth and evolution of our design system to ensure consistency, usability, and scalability.
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Using A/B testing, prototyping, and rapid iteration to improve user engagement and conversion.
  • User Research & Insights: Incorporating qualitative and quantitative data, user feedback, and usability testing into design decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Product, Engineering, and brand teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality digital experiences.

What You'll Do

Design Thoughtful, Patient-Centered Experiences

Translate complex patient needs and healthcare workflows into simple, intuitive digital experiences.

Own design work from initial concepts and user flows through high-fidelity mockups and implementation support across web and mobile platforms.

Apply strong visual design principles, including typography, color, layout, and interaction design, to create accessible and engaging experiences.

Use Research and Data to Inform Design

Participate in product discovery to ensure problem statements, design decisions, and hypotheses are grounded in patient needs and customer insights.

Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities, validate assumptions, and continuously improve the user experience.

Seek out and incorporate user feedback throughout the design process.

Experiment, Test, and Iterate

Develop prototypes to explore ideas, test assumptions, and validate potential solutions.

Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct A/B tests and usability testing, using results to inform design improvements.

Embrace rapid experimentation and iteration to deliver experiences that improve usability, engagement, and conversion.

Contribute to Our Design System

Help maintain and expand Remedy's growing design system, creating reusable components and patterns that support consistency across products.

Collaborate with other designers and engineers to ensure designs are scalable, accessible, and implemented with a high level of quality.

Collaborate Across Product and Engineering

Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and brand stakeholders to translate business and patient needs into effective design solutions.

Clearly communicate design decisions, explain tradeoffs, and incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners.

Actively participate in design reviews, sharing ideas and constructive feedback to elevate the quality of our work.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of product design experience, ideally within a consumer-focused, product-driven company.
  • Experience designing complex user flows, interactions, and interface states across web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including the ability to create polished, high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
  • Experience working with and contributing to established design systems.
  • Strong foundational visual design skills, including typography, color, layout, and interaction design.
  • Experience conducting or supporting A/B testing, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and tradeoffs.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional business teams.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your design thinking, problem-solving approach, and visual design craft.
  • A genuine interest in making healthcare more consumer-centric and improving the experience of patients managing specialized health conditions.

Nice to Have

Experience with one or more of the following:

  • Healthcare, health and wellness, or consumer-focused digital products
  • E-commerce or subscription-based products
  • Conversion rate optimization and subscription experience design
  • Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, or common web development principles
  • Accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you'll have developed a strong understanding of Remedy's patients, products, and design system, becoming a trusted design partner to Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

You'll have contributed to meaningful improvements across our web and mobile experiences, using research, experimentation, and data to inform solutions that improve usability, engagement, and patient satisfaction.

You'll also have helped strengthen our design system and establish consistent, scalable design patterns that support the continued growth of our products.

Most importantly, you'll help Remedy deliver simple, accessible, patient-centered digital experiences that make managing healthcare easier and more intuitive.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
