The posting

Role : Head of International Sales

Function: Sales & Commercial Location: Bengaluru (HQ) / Regional hub Travel: 40–50% international

Reports To: COO / Chief Operations Officer

Geographies: ROW (Except US) – Eg: Africa, LatAm, APAC, MEA, Europe/UK

Experience: 12–18 years

ABOUT REMIDIO

Remidio is a Bengaluru-headquartered ophthalmic med-tech company building AI-powered, portable retinal-imaging and eye-screening

devices (the Insta and Pristine ranges), the Medios AI detection platform, and the Remidio Connect tele-ophthalmology cloud. Over 4,000

devices are deployed across 55+ countries, delivering ~16 million screenings through hospitals, public health programmes, NGOs and

insurance-backed models — with international markets already contributing a growing share of revenue.

ROLE PURPOSE

Own and scale Remidio's Rest of World sales charter — building distributor-led go-to-market engines across Africa, Latin America, APAC,

the Middle East and Europe/UK to drive revenue, market share and public-health adoption of Remidio's ophthalmology screening

portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Revenue & Market Ownership: Own the RoW sales P&L and annual revenue/order targets across Africa, LatAm, APAC, MEA and

Europe/UK.

• Distributor Network: Identify, onboard, contract and performance-manage a high-quality distributor and channel-partner network in

each priority geography; set targets, incentives and joint business plans.

• Go-to-Market & Positioning: Define which Remidio products (Insta, Pristine, Medios AI, Connect) to lead with in each

market/segment, and how to position against local competition, pricing and reimbursement realities.

• Public Health & Institutional Sales: Navigate government tenders, ministry-of-health programmes, NGO and multilateral procurement

(e.g., WHO, IAPB-linked bodies) routed through distributor partners.

• Market Development: Prioritise and sequence country entry/expansion; build KOL, hospital-chain and eye-care-network relationships

alongside distributors.

• Cross-functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Marketing, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs to align product roadmap, registrations

and messaging with regional needs.

• Forecasting & Reporting: Own pipeline, forecast accuracy and CRM discipline; report performance to leadership with clear, databacked reviews.

• Representation: Represent Remidio at global ophthalmology conferences (WOC, AAO, APAO, ESCRS) and industry/public-health

forums.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING

• 12–18 years of international/RoW sales leadership in ophthalmology, medical devices, diagnostics or pharma, with demonstrated

success outside home markets.

• Proven ability to build, launch and scale distributor networks across two or more of: Africa, Latin America, APAC, Middle East,

Europe/UK.

• Working knowledge of the ophthalmology segment — diabetic retinopathy/retinal screening, fundus imaging or comparable

diagnostic devices — and how to match product to market.

• Hands-on experience with public health system sales: government tenders, MoH programmes and NGO/multilateral procurement

executed through distributors.

• Strong commercial and negotiation skills; comfortable owning a P&L and being measured on revenue, not just activity.

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business or related field; MBA preferred. Willingness to travel extensively.

SUCCESS METRICS (FIRST 12 MONTHS)

• RoW revenue growth and order-book targets achieved against plan.

• Number of active, performing distributors onboarded and retained across priority geographies.

• Public-health/tender win rate and value secured through channel partners.

• Forecast accuracy and pipeline health (CRM hygiene, coverage ratio).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
