Why Wealth Product & Client Solutions?
We offer private banking and wealth management services to high net worth clients in the UK, including banking, lending, and investments designed to meet their diverse and complex needs. We achieve this by offering specialist services backed by over 300 years of expertise. We’re a trusted partner, adviser, and friend to our clients.
Our strategy is underpinned by making sure we’re set up for success by supporting colleagues as they learn new skills essential for future growth, and our internship programme helps us to do just that. In Product Client & solutions we design, deliver and continuously improve Private Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) products, services and operational processes.
Your internship journey
We’ve designed our summer internship to give you a taste of what it’s like to work with us, along with valuable experience to help guide your career choices. You’ll be assigned a placement which will allow you to get a taste of PBWM operates behind the scenes, gaining exposure to the analytical, operational and transformation activities that support advisers, clients and the growth of the business.
Over the course of this eight-week programme, you’ll work from our London based office, focussed on one of our client goal teams.
During the programme, you can expect to:
- Accelerate your soft skills in communication, presenting, and research
- Gain a unique insight into the structure and purpose of our Chief Operating Office, Private Banking Products & Solutions function, as well as exposure to our strategic change work
- Develop relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and senior leaders across the PBWM function
- See first-hand how we work together to deliver an outstanding service for our clients
- Learn about our culture, values, and goals
- Attend training workshops and getting involved with our day-to-day work
- Explore your capability by taking part in a business improvement project
At the end of the placement, we’ll assess you on what you’ve learned. Complete this successfully and you could be offered a place on our Wealth Product & Client Solutions graduate programme, where you can take forward the skills you’ve learnt into the next step in your career.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for our Wealth Product & Client Solutions internship you’ll need:
- To be in your penultimate year of university
- To be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
- A keen interest in innovation and digital
- An appetite for continuous learning and a natural curiosity
- To be change-ready
- Collaboration skills
- A creative approach to problem-solving
