Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of our US Total Rewards programs, with a primary focus on Benefits. In addition to benefits administration and governance, the role will support compensation activities including market benchmarking, annual compensation cycles, pay equity analysis, and compensation reporting. The position will also play an important role in advancing the use of analytics, AI, and automation across Total Rewards processes and employee services.

This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, managers, and external vendors to deliver competitive, compliant, and employee-focused reward programs.

This is a professional individual contributor role requiring strong benefits expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer US employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, wellbeing, leave, and voluntary benefits.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for benefit-related inquiries from employees, HR partners, and managers.
  • Manage relationships with benefit carriers, brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Support annual Open Enrolment activities, employee communications, education campaigns, and benefits renewals.
  • Monitor program participation, utilization, and costs; analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and HR teams to resolve issues and maintain accurate program administration.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of compensation programs, including market benchmarking, salary analysis, annual merit reviews, and incentive administration.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and manager to provide guidance on compensation policies, salary recommendations and job levelling frameworks.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and insights that support data-driven Total Rewards decisions.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools, analytics, and automation solutions to improve reporting, employee support, process efficiency, and decision-making across Total Rewards programs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate benefits and compensation processes, reducing manual effort and improving data quality and employee experience.
  • Lead or participate in projects focused on process improvements, system enhancements, AI adoption, vendor implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Benefits, Compensation, Total Rewards, or Human Resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US benefits administration and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with benefit providers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
  • Working knowledge of compensation principles, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, pay structures, and annual compensation processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret compensation and benefits data, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent project management, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred), benefits administration systems, and reporting tools, with a continuous drive to leverage modern technology, AI, and automation to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CEBS, CCP, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar professional certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-state US employee populations.
  • Experience in a multinational organization.
  • Exposure to compensation benchmarking, pay equity, and broader Total Rewards programs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
