POSITION: Taxation Manager

EXPERIENCE: 3+ Years

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in taxation and be willing to stay up-to-date on evolving tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the firm’s tax compliance process – Direct and Indirect Taxation.
  • Manage his team to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tax filings. This would involve tax filing as well for the company.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the team and other departments on tax matters.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and educate colleagues and clients on relevant updates
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the firm to identify and address tax-related issues
  • Represent the firm in tax-related matters before tax authorities, as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in taxation.
  • Zeal to implement automatization of processes and technology-friendly.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to educate and train colleagues, vendors, and teams on complex tax matters.
