Job Description

As a Software Engineer Intern this is your opportunity to: • Gain exciting real-world software engineering experience at a thriving company. • Work on a small team in a collaborative environment with seasoned software developers. • Use your knowledge and experience with native and cross-platform mobile development to design, develop and test mobile applications for Resideo that enable our products and services. • Use your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals • Work within a full stack team to deliver high quality mobile experiences to our customers. • Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principles

YOU MUST HAVE: • Currently studying or recent completion of a Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major • Experience using software development tools and processes • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

WE VALUE: • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment • Experience developing native iOS and Android apps in Swift and Java/Kotlin and experience with the Dart/Flutter cross platform framework • Knowledge and experience with REST APIs • Experience with automated testing of mobile applications • Experience working in an Agile environment • Strong debugging skills • Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Workflows • Experience with software source control using GIT • GitHub experience • Experience developing Bluetooth / BLE applications • Creative Thinking • New and innovative ideas • Collaboration and teamwork • Attention to detail • High quality work product
