Job Description

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Resideo [SBU]. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. Identify and propose technical improvements using your software engineering knowledge and principals. Accelerate innovation and growth, teaming with the world's most talented engineers. JOB DUTIES:

  • Build and maintain scalable, reliable Mobile and Web applications to support connected HVAC and smart home devices.
  • Collaborate with cloud, product, and AI/ML teams to deliver software capabilities that support new features and customer experiences.
  • Contribute to platform improvements and help establish engineering patterns, templates, and documentation.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on UX or mobile app development.
  • Strong understanding of .NET, C# and networking.
  • Strong skills in at least one framework (e.g. Xamarin/MAUI or Flutter, etc…) developing for both iOS and Android.
  • Familiarity with ReactJS
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Understanding of database design and utilization.
  • Hands-on experience with product launch and go to market strategies.

WE VALUE:

  • Ability to traverse the entire software stack.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, smart home, or industrial systems a plus.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD and GitHub actions.
  • A pragmatic mindset—balancing engineering excellence with speed and business impact.
  • A strong sense of ownership and pride in shipping high-quality, maintainable systems.
