  • Provide clinical oversight and final verification of compounded preparations to ensure accuracy, safety, and therapeutic appropriateness
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all compounding, dispensing, and patient safety protocols
  • Monitor and manage prescription workflows to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant fulfillment of patient orders
  • Review and approve formulas, beyond-use dating (BUD) assignments, and compounding records in accordance with USP standards
  • Collaborate with prescribers and clinical staff to optimize patient therapy outcomes and address medication-related concerns

Quality Assurance & Patient Safety

  • Lead the pharmacy quality assurance program, including environmental monitoring, sterility testing, potency testing, and beyond-use date validation
  • Investigate and resolve quality deviations, complaints, adverse events, and recalls in a timely and thorough manner
  • Implement and oversee a robust medication error prevention program, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of all pharmaceutical products, including controlled substances and hazardous drugs
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all compounding, dispensing, and quality activities in accordance with cGMP and regulatory standards

Controlled Substance Management

  • Oversee all controlled substance procurement, storage, dispensing, recordkeeping, and inventory reconciliation in compliance with DEA regulations
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required DEA reports, including ARCOS reporting and biennial inventory
  • Investigate and document any controlled substance discrepancies and implement corrective actions as required
  • Train and supervise pharmacy staff on controlled substance handling protocols and DEA compliance requirements

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities for all pharmacy personnel
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, patient safety, and operational excellence
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and competency assessments to ensure team readiness and regulatory compliance

  • Strong working knowledge of DEA regulations, controlled substance management, and FDA oversight requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in pharmacy leadership, operations management, or as a Pharmacist-In-Charge
  • Exceptional clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
