  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for web platforms, analytics, tagging, cookie consent management, and related integrations.
  • Advise peers and leaders on platform opportunities, risks, investments, and business tradeoffs.
  • Translate business and technology strategies into a multi-year roadmap that advances platform modernization, responsible AI adoption, and digital experience innovation.
  • Contribute to broader omnichannel, content technology, data, and commercialization strategies.

Platform Roadmap and Governance

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the global digital experience ecosystem supporting product launches, international expansion, and new capabilities/innovation.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, and determine where they can improve customer experience, delivery speed, quality, scalability, or cost.
  • Establish policies and standards for architecture, development, hosting, security, privacy, accessibility, performance, analytics, localization, and content publishing.
  • Balance immediate delivery needs with scalability, reuse, modernization, and technical sustainability.
  • Build the skills, partnerships, and adoption plans required to incorporate AI and new digital capabilities into established workflows.

Portfolio and Launch Enablement

  • Maintain oversight of the existing global website portfolio, including platform health, security, accessibility, performance, technical debt, and lifecycle planning.
  • Govern the pipeline of new websites and major enhancements, partnering with Delivery Leads to prioritize demand, sequence work, allocate capacity, and promote reuse of global platforms and components.
  • Own the web and digital experience backlog, including intake governance, strategic trade-offs and sequencing of major enhancements, platform modernization, technical debt and innovation initiatives.
  • Establish repeatable methods for website creation, localization, testing, approval, deployment, operation, and retirement.
  • Provide senior platform leadership for product launches and deployment into new international markets.
  • Reduce unnecessary customization, duplicated development, and market-specific solutions through reusable global patterns.

Vendor Management

  • Allocate resources based on roadmap priorities, business value, demand, and platform risk.
  • Hold vendors accountable for delivery, service quality, financial commitments, security obligations, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide senior input into vendor selection, contracts, renewals, and major sourcing decisions.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, digital product management, marketing technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting regulated, privacy-sensitive, or compliance-intensive digital experiences in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
  • Significant experience leading enterprise web, digital experience, or marketing technology platforms.
  • Experience serving as a product owner or platform owner for a complex global technology ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing web architecture, governance, development, and operational standards.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of websites across multiple brands, business units, and markets.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager CMS, analytics, tag management, consent management, cloud hosting, APIs, and platform integrations.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery, quality assurance, release management, security, accessibility, and platform lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing technology vendors, digital agencies, contracts, budgets, and delivery performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Experience applying AI or automation to web development, quality assurance, accessibility, localization, content operations, personalization, analytics, or digital experience optimization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
