The posting

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Sales, OTC Derivatives to join our Equity Derivatives Structured Products team at RHB Investment Banking. In this role, you will support the execution of sales and marketing initiatives aimed at expanding the distribution and market presence of OTC derivative products. You will work closely with the Derivative Sales, Origination, and Trading teams to drive business growth, strengthen client engagement, and support product development initiatives across the franchise.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and execute sales initiatives in line with EDSP's annual sales strategies and business targets
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external distribution channels to expand product reach and drive revenue growth
  • Support the development and execution of marketing plans to enhance EDSP's product branding through online platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and other promotional activities
  • Drive client and broker engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships, improve customer experience, and enhance EDSP's market visibility and brand recognition
  • Assist the Derivative Sales desk in identifying business opportunities and supporting sales activities across various client segments
  • Act as a key liaison between sales channels, the Origination team, and Trading desks to facilitate product development and ensure alignment of business objectives
  • Monitor market developments, client trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product positioning and business expansion
  • Ensure all business activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or related disciplines
  • 1-3 years of working experience in financial markets, treasury sales, investment banking, capital markets, derivatives, wealth management, or related fields
  • Strong interest in equity derivatives, structured products, financial markets, and investment solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and business partners
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly motivated with a strong commercial mindset
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to understand financial products and market developments
  • Good planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
