Hou je van zelfstandig werken en ben je graag op pad? Dan is deze functie echt iets voor jou. Als Medewerker bloedafname bij RHMDC draag je bij aan betrouwbare diagnostiek, terwijl je dagelijks in contact staat met mensen van alle leeftijden. Je werkplek verschilt van dag tot dag — van huisbezoeken tot prikpunten en zorginstellingen in de wijk.

Ons kantoor is gevestigd in Hoofddorp maar voor deze functie kom je te werken op prikpunten in Leiden e.o.

Een dag in het leven van een Medewerker bloedafname

07.30 uur – Je stapt in de auto en vertrekt naar de prikpost waar je ingeroosterd staat.

08.00 uur - Je staat gereed om je eerste patiënt te helpen. Er staan een aantal patiënten al te wachten in de wachtruimte. Je controleert zorgvuldig de aanvraagformulier en voert de bloedafnames uit volgens protocol.

09.30 uur - Je draait je buisjes in de centrifuge en zorgt ervoor dat het eerste afgenomen materiaal klaarstaat voor vervoer naar het laboratorium door een van onze koeriers. Daarna ga je verder met de rest van de patiënten.

11.00 uur - Je kijkt nog even op Labtrain (thuisprik app) of er een cito geprikt moet worden in de wijk. Als dat het geval is, neemt je leidinggevende contact op voor verdere afhandeling.

12.00 uur - Je dienst zit erop voor vandaag. Je rijdt terug naar huis en sluit je werkdag voldaan af.

Wat ga je doen

  • Afnemen van bloed bij patiënten thuis, op wijklocaties of bij zorginstellingen.
  • Controleren van aanvragen en patiëntgegevens.
  • Registreren en verwerken van gegevens in onze digitale systemen.
  • Zorgdragen voor veilige en hygiënische werkomstandigheden.
  • Onderdelen van het proces nauwkeurig afhandelen en waar nodig collega's ondersteunen.

Wat breng je mee

  • Minimaal MBO 3 werk- en denkniveau, met aantoonbare kennis van of affiniteit met de zorg.
  • Ervaring met venapunctie is een pré, maar geen vereiste — wij leren je het graag.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

Daarnaast is het belangrijk dat je

  • Beschikt over een rijbewijs B en eigen vervoer.
  • 12 tot 20 uur per week beschikbaar bent.
  • In Leiden of directe omgeving woonachtig bent.
  • Minimaal drie dagdelen per week beschikbaar bent.
  • Eén keer per maand aanwezig kunt zijn bij het werkoverleg op kantoor in Hoofddorp.

Belangrijk om te weten

Onderdeel van de procedure is het aanvragen van een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) en een referentiecheck volgens de Wkkgz.
