Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics, transportation, shipping and distribution operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Manage local and international freight forwarding, import/export and shipping activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, customers and external logistics partners.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Manage overall warehouse operations, storage, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Establish effective inventory control systems and stock management procedures.
  • Monitor stock accuracy, inventory turnover and warehouse utilisation.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage and tracking of company assets and materials.

3. Operations & Cost Management

  • Develop annual operational budgets and monitor expenditure.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Establish KPIs and performance monitoring systems.
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives and implement cost-saving measures.

4. Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, supervise and develop logistics, warehouse and operations teams.
  • Manage workforce planning, manpower allocation and performance assessments.
  • Establish clear operational procedures and accountability across departments.
  • Build a strong culture of teamwork, safety and operational excellence.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements and relevant international logistics standards.
  • Oversee workplace safety, warehouse security and operational risk management.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, audit records and operational documentation.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, supply chain or operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and international logistics.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional operations.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting and cost-control capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
