WHAT WE DO

Rillet serves accounting and finance teams, the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.

Rillet is the Agentic ERP built for modern finance teams. We help companies automate the most critical parts of finance, from closing the books and recognizing revenue to consolidating entities and reporting to investors. More than 600 companies run on Rillet, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and we partner with leading accounting firms including EY and KPMG.

We’re building in one of the largest software markets in the world, with the momentum to match. Rillet has raised more than $200M, is valued at $1B, and is backed by Sequoia, a16z, ICONIQ, Bain Capital Ventures, Oak HC/FT, and other leading investors. We’re using that backing to build the financial infrastructure for the next generation of companies and help every business run its numbers at the speed of AI.

WHO WE ARE

Rillet’s pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility.

The people who thrive at Rillet do not wait for assignments. They internalize the mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for.

Our work revolves around our customers. The people who succeed here are energized by delivering what matters most, even when it was not part of the original plan.

Rillet is built on deep accounting expertise, and it takes people from many disciplines to build a category-defining company. You do not need to be an accountant to thrive here. You do need to care deeply about the problems we solve and the impact our customers can create. Together, we combine the precision of accounting with the speed, creativity, and ambition of AI-native software to power the financial core of the world’s fastest-growing companies while redefining what finance teams should expect from their software.

WHO WE NEED

We’re building an industry-defining accounting and finance platform and looking for a Product Manager to define and own core product experiences across our AI-embedded ERP. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, regulated domains and enjoys turning messy, real-world problems into clear product direction. You’ll play a critical role in shaping a product that meets the nuanced needs of finance and operations teams. Your background in enterprise SaaS product development, particularly in workflow-driven, data-heavy systems like accounting, reporting, or financial operations, will help guide thoughtful tradeoffs between automation, control, and trust. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to translate complex workflows and compliance requirements into intuitive product features that solve real-world problems..

We’re looking for teammates who are based near our New York City or San Francisco offices, or open to relocating. Our hybrid schedule brings the team together in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week. Some roles may spend more time in the office depending on the needs of the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Define, prioritize, and execute features that align with customer needs and business goals.

- Partner closely with engineers and designers to deliver accurate, intuitive solutions.

- Gather feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and the market to inform product development. Deeply understand customer workflows, pain points, and constraints through interviews, data, and direct usage.

- Create product documentation, release notes, and training materials.

- Support QA and user acceptance testing for finance-related features.

- Own the product roadmap for your domain (e.g., accounting, reporting, workflows, integrations

- Identify where AI meaningfully improves outcomes vs. where determinism and control matter more

- Measure adoption, retention, and real customer value—not just feature delivery Help shape positioning and messaging for new capabilities

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 4+ years of Product Management experience (enterprise SaaS strongly preferred)

- Experience working on complex, data-heavy, or workflow-driven products

- Strong product sense: you can decompose messy problems into clear solutions

- Excellent written and verbal communication—especially in ambiguous environments

- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior engineers and designers

- You’re opinionated but open to being wrong

- You’re energized by complexity and balancing short term wins with long-term product thinking

- Strong Plus: Experience with ERP, accounting, finance, or operational systems

- Strong Plus: Startup or early-stage company experience

The expected base salary range for this role is $170,000–$230,000 in San Francisco. Final compensation within this range will depend on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
