We are actively seeking a Sr. Architect ServiceNow Agentic AI and ERP, based in Brazil to support clients across LATAM. This is a hands-on, client-embedded delivery role combining agentic AI engineering, deep ServiceNow platform expertise and enterprise ERP process experience. The engineer will work directly with clients to rapidly translate ambiguous business problems into production solutions, operating remotely with onsite visits as engagements require.

Position Summary

Reporting to the VP, Innovation Solution Delivery, the Sr. Architect ServiceNow Agentic AI and ERP, embeds with enterprise clients to design, build and operationalize production solutions that transform ERP-centered business processes. ServiceNow will be a primary experience, workflow, AI governance and orchestration layer over systems of record such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite and JD Edwards. The role remains first and foremost a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer position, accountable for rapidly converting client problems into working software and for delivery from discovery and architecture through build, cutover, early production and structured handover to ongoing support.

This person must bring deep, current and hands-on ServiceNow engineering experience, including the ability to implement and operationalize AI Control Tower, Now Assist and ServiceNow Otto, AI Agents and agentic workflows, and Zero Copy Connector for ERP, formerly ERP Canvas. They must use these capabilities as part of an end-to-end client solution while remaining accountable for the broader engineering outcome, including ERP integration, security, data architecture, release management, adoption and production reliability. This is not a purely advisory, presales or platform administration role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery with client business and technology teams, identify high-value ERP process opportunities and translate them into clear engineering deliverables and measurable success criteria.
  • Map current-state processes and design improved end-to-end experiences across functions such as procurement, finance, order-to-cash, supply chain, customer service and employee operations.
  • Design ServiceNow-led target architectures in which ServiceNow serves as the engagement, workflow and orchestration layer while SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards and other enterprise platforms remain integrated systems of record.
  • Build production solutions hands-on using ServiceNow capabilities, including scoped applications, App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal or UI Builder, APIs, data models, security controls and platform governance.
  • Implement and operationalize ServiceNow AI Control Tower capabilities covering AI asset discovery, inventory, ownership, lifecycle governance, risk and compliance, security, runtime observation, adoption and value measurement across ServiceNow and third-party AI environments.
  • Configure AI Control Tower integrations and relationships across AI systems, models, agents, prompts, datasets, MCP servers, identities, business applications and services, ensuring ownership, lineage and control status are represented accurately.
  • Design and implement ERP integration solutions using Zero Copy Connector for ERP, formerly ERP Canvas, IntegrationHub, MID Server, remote tables, extraction tables, REST, BAPI, OData, IDoc and appropriate middleware patterns.
  • Configure and extend Now Assist, ServiceNow Otto, AI Agents and agentic workflows, including grounding sources, AI Search, agent tools, workflow triggers, orchestration, approvals, evaluation and user-facing experiences.
  • Assess client ServiceNow environments for required products, plugins, platform releases, roles, data readiness, integrations, regional availability and licensing dependencies before committing to a target architecture or delivery plan.
  • Translate client use cases into deployable increments, personally build critical solution components, validate them with users and iterate rapidly based on production evidence and field feedback.
  • Design and implement agentic AI experiences on ServiceNow and connected AI platforms, including agent orchestration, retrieval, prompt architecture, guardrails, human approvals and safe tool execution.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with ERP and enterprise platforms using secure REST, event-driven and middleware patterns, with clear ownership of data, transactions, identity, error handling and auditability.
  • Write production-grade code and configuration within the client delivery environment, source control, CI/CD practices and release governance, including change approvals, separation of duties, audit evidence and rollback planning.
  • Implement enterprise-safe agent actions with permission scoping, approval gates, audit trails and rollback paths for actions that affect systems of record.
  • Create evaluation suites and production observability that identify hallucinations, grounding gaps, regressions, latency, errors, output drift and adoption issues.
  • Work directly with client security, architecture, data and ERP teams to align identity, secrets management, network controls, compliance and operational support requirements.
  • Stay accountable through testing, cutover and the first production iteration cycle, then complete a structured handover with documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer.
  • Act as an escalation resource after handover when issues require deeper ServiceNow, integration, agentic AI or architectural expertise.
  • Build trusted relationships with client engineering, ERP, security and business stakeholders, and communicate clearly with both technical teams and executives.
  • Convert field learning into reusable accelerators, reference architectures, implementation patterns and delivery methods for the Innovation Solution Delivery organization.

Experience

This is a Principal-level, hands-on delivery role. We are looking for an engineer who can operate independently inside complex enterprise environments and take direct accountability for production outcomes. The successful candidate will combine deep ServiceNow delivery experience with strong ERP process grounding, enterprise integration capability and recent applied AI or agentic AI experience.

  • 12+ years of professional engineering or enterprise platform delivery experience, with significant hands-on production delivery rather than purely advisory experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture, engineering and implementation experience, including direct responsibility for production configuration, development, integration and release outcomes across complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated implementation experience with at least two of the following: AI Control Tower, Now Assist, ServiceNow Otto, AI Agents, App Engine, IntegrationHub, Zero Copy Connector for ERP or ERP Canvas, AI Search, UI Builder, Service Portal, Integrated Risk Management or Security Operations.
  • Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with at least one major ERP platform such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite or JD Edwards, preferably using Zero Copy Connector for ERP or ERP Canvas, remote tables, extraction tables, IntegrationHub and MID Server.
  • Demonstrated business-process depth in one or more core ERP domains such as procurement, finance, order-to-cash, supply chain or customer operations.
  • 2+ years delivering AI or machine learning solutions into production, with recent hands-on agentic or LLM-based work strongly preferred.
  • Practical experience configuring AI Control Tower or an equivalent enterprise AI governance capability, including AI asset inventory, discovery, ownership, lifecycle, risk, controls, monitoring and value measurement.
  • Hands-on experience building or deploying ServiceNow AI Agents and agentic workflows through AI Agent Studio or equivalent ServiceNow tooling, including agent instructions, tools, orchestration, grounding, testing and human supervision.
  • Evidence of personally building and troubleshooting production solutions rather than operating solely in an advisory, presales or program-management capacity.
  • Proven track record working directly with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 clients in ambiguous, complex and regulated environments.
  • Track record of owning the full delivery lifecycle, including discovery, architecture, build, testing, cutover, handover and escalation support.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across distributed LATAM and global teams and to communicate confidently with business, ERP and technology stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Deep ServiceNow platform engineering expertise, including scoped applications, App Engine, Flow Designer, Workflow Studio, IntegrationHub, MID Server, UI Builder, Service Portal, scripting, platform data models, access controls, automated testing and release governance.
  • Ability to apply ServiceNow as a transformation layer over ERP processes, improving the user experience and workflow without creating unnecessary duplication of ERP logic or compromising the ERP system of record.
  • Hands-on ServiceNow AI and agentic expertise across Now Assist, ServiceNow Otto, AI Agent Studio, AI Agents, agentic workflows, AI Search, retrieval and grounding, agent tools, human approvals, evaluation, observability and responsible AI controls.
  • AI Control Tower expertise covering AI discovery and inventory, asset relationships, governance workflows, lifecycle controls, AI risk and compliance, identity and access visibility, runtime observation, adoption and value measurement.
  • ERP integration interface knowledge across REST, BAPI, OData, IDoc, Oracle EBS ISG services, event-driven integration and middleware patterns, including transaction ownership, data residency, error handling and reconciliation.
  • Ability to assess ServiceNow release compatibility, plugin and Store application dependencies, entitlements, user roles, data readiness and regional availability constraints.
  • ERP modernization and integration expertise using Zero Copy Connector for ERP, formerly ERP Canvas, ERP models, remote and extraction tables, App Engine for ERP, IntegrationHub, MID Server and secure transactional integration with SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards or comparable systems of record.
  • Production engineering capability in JavaScript or TypeScript and Python, plus strong API, integration and data-handling skills.
  • Enterprise integration fundamentals, including REST, event-driven patterns, middleware, identity flows such as OIDC and SAML, and secure deployment into client-controlled environments.
  • SQL and data modelling fluency, including the ability to reason about data quality, lineage, permissions and operational semantics across ServiceNow and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, evaluation, observability, prompt design and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Agent tool execution and governance, including MCP or equivalent interfaces, scoped credentials, permission boundaries, approval gates, audit trails and safe execution controls.
  • UI and experience-layer fluency using ServiceNow UI Builder, Service Portal and modern web frameworks where needed to deliver intuitive enterprise experiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences, with strong consulting judgment, autonomy, resilience and practical delivery discipline.
  • Fluent professional English and Portuguese are required. Spanish is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant ServiceNow certifications, including Certified System Administrator and advanced implementation, application developer or architecture credentials, are strongly preferred.

Location and Travel

  • Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, supporting LATAM and global client engagements. The role operates in a remote-first model with onsite client work as required. Travel is typically up to 25 percent for client delivery, workshops, prospects, partners and company events.
