Regional Business Development Manager - IFF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Rinchem is seeking an experienced International Freight Forwarding sales professional to drive growth across Asia.  This role will be responsible for developing new freight forwarding business, expanding strategic customer relationships, and strengthening our position in key markets throughout Asia.  The successful candidate will work closely with Rinchem's established freight forwarding and operations teams while focusing on customer acquisition and revenue growth.  This is a high-impact role with significant opportunity to influence Rinchem's growth strategy across the region and reports directly to the Director of International Freight Forwarding. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and secure new international freight forwarding opportunities throughout Asia. Develop business within the chemical, hazardous materials, semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Build and maintain relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, ocean carriers, air carriers, and logistics partners. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through implementation. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and execution. Represent Rinchem at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

​​7+ years of international freight forwarding sales experience. Proven track record of developing and closing new freight forwarding business. Strong understanding of Asia-Pacific logistics markets. Experience working for a freight forwarder, carrier, NVOCC, or logistics provider. Established relationships with ocean carriers, air carriers, and international logistics providers. Existing network of contacts within the chemical, hazardous materials, semiconductor, or related industrial markets. Strong understanding of international ocean freight, air freight, and supply chain solutions.

Experience and Education:

​​​​Bachelor's degree is required​ ​7+ of progressive sales experience required ​Previous logistics or 3PL experience highly desired ​Previous chemical industry, transportation, or warehousing experience highly desired​​

Communication Skills:

​​Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Excellent Presentation Skills ​Ability to Influence “C” Level Audiences​ Read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.

Preferred Qualifications:

Based in Taiwan or willing to travel as needed from any other Asia based location. Experience working with major carriers such as Evergreen, Yang Ming, Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, or similar organizations. Mandarin language skills. Existing customer relationships within the semiconductor, electronics, or chemical industries.
