RIO LOGISTICS (S) PTE. LTD is an international freight forwarding company providing air and sea freight, transportation, and warehousing services. Its core business focuses on ship spare and offshore logistics and Dangerous Goods (DG) Trucking.

Role Lead freight forwarding operations by managing air and seafreight processes, customs declarations, and team performance to drive revenuegrowth and operational excellence in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage defence-related tendering, procurement and contract submissions, including RFPs, RFQs and ITTs.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, including performance monitoring and due diligence.
  • Oversee contract execution, project deliverables, timelines and operational requirements.
  • Identify and manage procurement, contractual and operational risks.
  • Coordinate with military clients, suppliers, contractors and internal departments.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs and contract performance.
  • Maintain proper documentation, records and audit compliance.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in defence-related projects or government procurement will be an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of tendering, contract management and supplier relations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Independent, responsible, meticulous and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
