O Steward é responsável por realizar a higienização de utensílios, equipamentos, áreas de produção e demais ambientes da cozinha, garantindo a organização, conservação e disponibilidade dos recursos necessários para a operação. Atua no apoio logístico da brigada, contribuindo para o cumprimento das normas de higiene, segurança alimentar e conservação do patrimônio do hotel.

  • Higienizar utensílios, panelas, louças, talheres e equipamentos utilizados na cozinha.
  • Realizar a limpeza e organização das áreas de produção, câmaras frias, depósitos e demais ambientes da cozinha.
  • Efetuar a coleta e o descarte adequado de resíduos, conforme os procedimentos estabelecidos.
  • Abastecer as áreas de produção com utensílios limpos e higienizados.
  • Auxiliar na organização e conservação de equipamentos e materiais da cozinha.
  • Executar a limpeza de pisos, paredes, bancadas, coifas, ralos e demais estruturas da cozinha.
  • Zelar pela correta utilização e conservação dos produtos e equipamentos de limpeza.
  • Apoiar o recebimento e a organização de materiais quando solicitado.
  • Identificar e comunicar necessidades de manutenção de equipamentos e instalações.
  • Manter os ambientes organizados durante e após a operação.
  • Cumprir os cronogramas de limpeza periódica e limpeza profunda da cozinha.
  • Seguir os procedimentos de segurança no manuseio de produtos químicos e equipamentos.
  • Cumprir as normas de Boas Práticas de Manipulação de Alimentos, no que se refere à higienização do ambiente.
  • Apoiar a brigada de cozinha nas demandas operacionais compatíveis com a função, sem realizar atividades de preparo de alimentos.
  • Executar outras atividades correlatas à função.
