The posting

As Technical Producers at Riot, we lead passionate technical teams to create products and experiences that maximize developer and player value. We guide development, clear blockers, and push projects across the finish line while helping our teams operate sustainably and maintain a collaborative environment.

As a Technical Producer on VALORANT’s Developer Experience & Workflows (DEW) team, you will own team-level production for the team that makes VALORANT’s development inner loop fast, reliable, and increasingly self-service. DEW supports the developer workflows used to create, validate, and iterate on VALORANT content and code, helping teams move efficiently toward playable, shippable work. These workflows include editor workflows, content versioning, leak detection, and VALORANT-specific asset guardrails.

You will partner closely with the DEW Product Lead and Engineering Manager to turn agreed upon direction into executable plans, establish a reliable operating rhythm, coordinate dependencies, manage delivery risk, and create clear visibility into commitments and outcomes. Product owns product direction and roadmap priorities. Engineering owns the technical approach and quality. Production owns planning, coordination, execution health, delivery visibility, and helping the team make and keep realistic commitments. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Technical Production for VALORANT Foundations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead DEW’s day-to-day production practice, including planning, team rituals, commitments, risks, dependencies, and delivery visibility
  • Translate agreed product direction and technical plans into executable work, milestones, and release or transition plans
  • Maintain a clear execution backlog and capacity plan across KTLO, emergent support, planned work, and discretionary investment
  • Coordinate dependencies across DEW and partner teams, surface delivery risks early, and drive issues to clear owners and decisions
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on intake and tradeoffs, while communicating status, decisions, changes, and risks to stakeholders and customers
  • Improve DEW’s operating system and team sustainability using production and service health metrics, with the goal of making delivery more predictable and DEW workflows more reliable

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager delivering technical tools, services, workflows, or complex software initiatives from planning through post-release support
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Experience partnering with engineering leadership to clarify scope, manage dependencies, resolve risks, and deliver against commitments
  • Experience managing execution backlogs across planned work, operational work, defects, and emergent requests
  • Strong judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into plans, decisions, owners, and follow-through
  • Experience working across disciplines, organizations, and time zones using Agile or Lean practices such as Scrum or Kanban; technical education or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Experience managing stakeholders, gathering and aligning on requirements across service development teams, and translating them into prioritized, executable work for the team
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, understanding scope and dependencies, navigating constraints, and prioritizing team efforts based on impact and capacity
  • Experience identifying operational and development challenges, facilitating resolution, and driving issues to clear decisions
  • Proficiency with Jira, Notion, or similar planning and collaboration tools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in game development or a strong understanding of how technical teams build game features for a modern live-service game
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and the workflows used by engineers, designers, artists, and QA
  • Experience using delivery metrics, operational data, automation, or AI-assisted tools to improve execution, reliability, or team efficiency

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
