The posting

Important Information: Applicants must be residing in New Zealand and legally entitled to work here. This position is offered as a contractor role, not an employment position. As a contractor, you will be responsible for your own tax obligations, ACC levies, and any other statutory requirements. All work will be governed by a formal contractor agreement outlining deliverables, payment terms, confidentiality, and other relevant conditions.

About the Role:

Are you observant, detail-oriented, and enjoy engaging with people in a professional setting? Our company is launching a new Mystery Shopper service, and we are seeking reliable individuals to evaluate customer experiences across a variety of retail and service environments. Your insights will help businesses improve their service quality and ensure their customer experiences are exceptional.

What You'll Do:

  • Visit assigned stores or service locations to observe and interact with staff as a regular customer.
  • Assess staff behavior, service efficiency, and overall customer experience according to pre-set guidelines.
  • Record detailed and accurate feedback on your observations.
  • Submit reports promptly, clearly, and professionally.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the businesses and assignments you visit.

What Were Looking For:

  • Exceptional attention to detail notice the little things others might miss.
  • Strong observation skills able to objectively assess interactions and service quality.
  • Excellent communication skills clear, concise, and professional report writing.
  • High integrity and reliability dependable in completing assignments as scheduled.
  • Comfortable interacting with staff and customers in a face-to-face setting.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to assessment criteria.
  • Time management skills complete assignments efficiently and submit reports on time.
  • Discretion and professionalism maintain confidentiality at all times.
