The posting

Job Context:

Riseup Labs is searching for a driven Technical Sales Expert who will be responsible to involve and interact with clients, offering technical support, and collaborating with various teams to drive sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Make cold calls, develop and qualify leads, conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
  • Sell our software subscription plans perfectly and ensure that customers are renewing each month without dropping off.
  • Manage and guide business analyst team for technical and functional aspects of RFP/RFI/RFQ/OTM/EOI.
  • Create a Proposal & requirements specification document by gathering requirements.
  • Partnering with OEM service provider.
  • Participate in pre-sales efforts including: technical sales presentations, architecture design discussions, competitive displacement, proof-of-concept engagements, RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.
  • Learn and understand hardware sales for different sectors like Infrastructure, Banks/Insurance, Telco, Government.
  • Learn the technical details pertaining to how SaaS software works.
  • Understand, recommend, and professionally sell additional products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, understand industry trends, and stay informed about competitor activities.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) major in Marketing or graduate in CSE (IT background will get preference).

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven track record with impressive sales numbers and targets.
  • Must have experience selling On-Demand, SaaS (Software as a Service) solution or subscription-based product to a diverse customer base.
  • B2B sales experience within SaaS, Data, or Analytics industries.
  • Strong understanding of cloud solution, hardware solution and licensing solutions.
  • Strong experience in ERP, CRM, and Help desk product.
