Als Operational Technology (OT) Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer, de ondersteuning en de verdere ontwikkeling van de productietechnologische systemen binnen onze vestiging. Je zorgt ervoor dat de productie-installaties en bijhorende digitale systemen betrouwbaar, veilig en efficiënt functioneren, zodat de continuïteit van de productie gegarandeerd blijft.

Je ondersteunt productiekritische OT-systemen zoals PLC's, SCADA, MES-oplossingen en industriële netwerken. Daarbij analyseer je technische storingen, zoek je naar structurele oplossingen en draag je bij aan een optimale werking van de productieomgeving. Daarnaast beheer je de levenscyclus van hardware en software, waaronder onderhoud, upgrades, back-ups en systeemdocumentatie.

Je werkt nauw samen met afdelingen zoals Productie, Onderhoud, Engineering en Kwaliteit om de prestaties van machines en processen verder te verbeteren. Vanuit jouw expertise identificeer je opportuniteiten op het vlak van automatisering, digitalisering en operationele efficiëntie.

Ook waak je over de cyberveiligheid en betrouwbaarheid van de OT-omgeving. Je ondersteunt risicoanalyses, toegangsbeheer, beveiligingsmaatregelen en compliancevereisten binnen de productieomgeving.

Verder neem je deel aan technische projecten en investeringen, waarbij je instaat voor de definiëring van technische vereisten, het testen en implementeren van nieuwe systemen en de coördinatie van externe leveranciers en integratoren.

Zo speel je een sleutelrol in het waarborgen van een veilige, stabiele en toekomstgerichte productieomgeving.

  • Een relevante universitaire opleiding, hogere technische opleiding of beroepsopleiding op het gebied van automatisering, elektrotechniek/elektronica, besturingssystemen, mechatronica, computertechniek of een verwante studierichting, of gelijkwaardige, aanzienlijke praktijkervaring.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met het ondersteunen van productie kritische besturings-, automatiserings- of productiesystemen in een operationele omgeving.Practische kennis van PLC, SCADA, MES of vergelijkbare industriële platforms, inclusief gestructureerde probleemoplossing op het gebied van hardware, software en netwerken.
  • Inzicht in industriële netwerken, IT/OT-interfaces, segmentatie, toegang op afstand en principes van cyberbeveiliging.
  • Ervaring met het beheren van OT-incidenten, onderzoeken naar de onderliggende oorzaak, technische wijzigingen en escalatie naar leveranciers.
  • Het vermogen om technische tekeningen, systeemarchitectuur, configuraties en apparatuur documentatie te interpreteren.
  • Ervaring met het veilig en effectief samenwerken met Productie, Onderhoud, Global Engineering, Kwaliteit, D&T en externe partners.
  • Vloeiend in de lokale werktaal en in staat om technische informatie duidelijk in het Engels over te brengen.
