The posting

Overview:

The Investor Relations Manager supports the Investor Relations team in executing the company’s investor communication programme and in maintaining relationships with the investment community. This role has day-to-day responsibility for preparing earnings and investor materials, covering a defined group of investors and analysts, and providing the analysis that supports targeting and messaging. The role is a step towards full ownership of the earnings cycle and reports directly to the Head of Investor Relations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including results commentary, Q&A documents and investor presentations, working with Finance and senior IR.

2. Draft and maintain the core investor presentation and supporting materials, ensuring the equity story is communicated accurately and consistently.

3. Act as day-to-day contact for a defined group of institutional investors and sell-side analysts, handling routine inquiries and escalating material feedback to senior IR.

4. Prepare analysis of the shareholder register, peer valuations and analyst estimates to support targeting and outreach.

5. Support preparation of IR input into regulatory filings and market disclosures, working with legal, finance and external advisers.

6. Coordinate investor roadshows, conferences, site visits and results calls, including logistics, briefing materials and post-meeting follow-up.

7. Prepare regular reporting on investor sentiment, peer benchmarking and market developments for senior management.

8. Support the preparation of materials and logistics for Board and Board committee meetings, working with senior IR and the Company Secretary’s office.

9. Conduct ad hoc research and analysis on peer benchmarking, market developments and specific investor topics to support senior IR and management.

10. Work with external IR service providers, including IR platforms and investor targeting partners, on day-to-day requirements.

11. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Communications and the business to gather information and ensure consistency across investor-facing content.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.

2. 4–7 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, equity capital markets, investment banking or corporate finance.

3. Experience preparing earnings materials or investor presentations, ideally in an in-house IR role at a listed company.

4. Good understanding of equity markets, valuation concepts and financial statements.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately.

6. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with IR platforms or market data terminals (e.g. Bloomberg) advantageous.

7. High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadlines.

8. High degree of professionalism, discretion and integrity in handling confidential and price-sensitive information.

9. Collaborative team player, comfortable working across functions and with senior stakeholders.

Fluency in English required; Mandarin highly advantageous.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
