The posting

Company

Our client is an established financial services group with operations across wealth management, asset management and related financial services. Following the establishment of its Singapore asset management business, the firm is looking to strengthen its local legal and compliance capability. This is an opportunity to join a growing platform and take broad responsibility across fund structuring, regulatory compliance and ongoing legal matters supporting its Singapore fund management activities.

The Role

Reporting into senior management and working closely with other senior leaders:

• Lead the development of the dealing function in Singapore, driving the launch of core equity and related trading capabilities while continuously improving trading stability, efficiency and client experience.

• Oversee the end-to-end client journey, from account opening and funding to trading, customer service and operational follow-through. Identify and resolve key issues to ensure effective integration between the front-office trading experience and back-end execution processes.

• Collaborate with product, technology, compliance, operations and client service teams to define local requirements, coordinate testing and acceptance, support product releases and drive post-launch improvements, ensuring that functionality meets both regulatory requirements and commercial needs.

• Establish and enhance processes for dealing support, order handling, incident escalation, client enquiries and service feedback to strengthen client protection and responsiveness.

• Use client behaviour, trading pain points and market feedback to identify and implement improvements to account-opening experiences, trading interfaces, advisory-related journeys and other priority features.

• Work with marketing and growth teams on initiatives to improve client activation, trading activity and retention, helping the platform progress from basic operational readiness to sustained business traction.

• Take on cross-functional responsibilities within a lean team, helping establish front-office processes, training standards and collaboration mechanisms to support long-term business expansion.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Hands-on experience in Singapore securities brokerage, trading support, dealing or related client trading service functions, with a good understanding of equity and other major securities trading workflows and client needs.

• Strong understanding of brokerage requirements under the MAS regulatory framework, including trading controls, client protection, process compliance and operational coordination across the trade lifecycle.

• Experience in trading platform launches, localisation of platform features or digital brokerage product enhancement, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical product and process solutions.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with product, technology, compliance, operations, client service and marketing teams.

• Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and results-oriented execution skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing, highly collaborative start-up environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
