Voor een groeiende en ondernemende organisatie in de regio Waregem zijn we op zoek naar een Aankoper (M/V/X).

Je komt terecht in een bedrijf met meerdere vestigingen in België en een sterke distributieomgeving, waar dagelijks wordt ingezet op kwaliteit, service en een doordacht assortiment. De organisatie telt vandaag enkele honderden medewerkers en bevindt zich in een interessante transitiefase, waarbij processen verder worden uitgebouwd en geoptimaliseerd. Net daarin schuilt een grote troef van deze functie: je krijgt de kans om mee je stempel te drukken op de manier van werken en actief bij te dragen aan verdere professionalisering. De cultuur is vlak en open, met korte communicatielijnen, ruimte voor initiatief en een no-nonsense mentaliteit. Ideeën worden hier gewaardeerd en mensen met een kritische blik en een hands-on ingesteldheid krijgen de kans om echt impact te maken.

Functieomschrijving

Als Aankoper (M/V/X) ben je verantwoordelijk voor het volledige aankoopverhaal binnen jouw productcategorieën en vorm je een belangrijke schakel tussen leveranciers, interne diensten en de commerciële werking van de organisatie. Je vertaalt de aankoopstrategie naar concrete acties en beheert jouw dossiers van A tot Z: van leverancierscontacten en prijsonderhandelingen tot contractopvolging, prijszetting, margebeheer en assortimentskeuzes. Je bouwt duurzame relaties uit met bestaande leveranciers en gaat ook actief op zoek naar nieuwe opportuniteiten in de markt. Daarbij volg je marktontwikkelingen, trends, prijsbewegingen en innovaties nauwgezet op, zodat je steeds onderbouwde beslissingen kan nemen. Je analyseert marges, kosten en leverbetrouwbaarheid en brengt risico's en optimalisatiekansen helder in kaart.

Binnen deze rol werk je ook nauw samen met sales en andere interne stakeholders rond category management, promoties en assortimentsvoorstellen. Je denkt mee na over de vraag welke producten strategisch relevant zijn, ondersteunt bij productintroducties en neemt deel aan overlegmomenten rond nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Ook in presentaties en commerciële voorstellen speel je een actieve rol. Je rapporteert binnen het aankoopteam en werkt samen in een omgeving waar expertise aanwezig is, maar waar ook ruimte is om bestaande processen kritisch te bekijken en verder te verbeteren.

Profiel

Voor deze functie zoeken we een kandidaat met relevante ervaring binnen aankoop; dit is een absolute must. Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een economische, commerciële of supply chain-gerelateerde richting, al primeert vooral jouw praktijkervaring en inzicht in aankoopprocessen.

Je bent vertrouwd met leveranciersbeheer, contractonderhandelingen, prijsanalyses en marge-opvolging en weet data gericht in te zetten om beslissingen te onderbouwen. Een goede kennis van Excel en ervaring met ERP-systemen zijn belangrijk. Er lopen verschillende systeem- en procesvraagstukken, dus we zoeken iemand die niet enkel volgt, maar ook processen in vraag durft te stellen en mee wil nadenken over verbeteringen. Talenkennis is eveneens van belang: je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands en hebt voldoende durf en niveau in het Frans om professionele contacten te onderhouden. Als persoon ben je sterk in onderhandelen, verbindend in samenwerking en tegelijk voldoende kritisch om zaken bespreekbaar te maken. Je voelt je goed in een omgeving met ervaren collega's en weet daar op een mature manier jouw plaats in te nemen.
