Innovatie en AI staan hoog op de agenda: ook binnen Finance wordt AI al actief ingezet, bijvoorbeeld voor rapportering en de voorstelling aan de Raad van Bestuur. Je werkt in een modern kantoor met open communicatie en een fijne werksfeer, met onder meer teamactiviteiten, sportieve initiatieven en familiedagen.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Financial Controller (m/v/x) rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Finance Director en ben je haar rechterhand. Je vormt de schakel tussen het accountancydepartement en de Finance Director en speelt een sleutelrol in het waarborgen van betrouwbare financiële informatie, het versterken van de financiële processen en het omzetten van cijfers in inzichten die zakelijke beslissingen ondersteunen. Je werkt nauw samen met het Finance team, Sales, Marketing, Customer Services en het internationale management. Je blijft niet bij de kernboekhouding stilstaan: je spoort inefficiënties op, vereenvoudigt processen en onderzoekt hoe automatisering en AI-tools de financiële werking sneller en betrouwbaarder kunnen maken.

Financiële rapportering & controle

  • Je stelt correcte maandelijkse, driemaandelijkse en jaarlijkse geconsolideerde rapportering op: resultatenrekening, balans, cashflow, KPI's en financiële analyses.
  • Je legt verbanden in de data en werkt steeds meer aan analyses die inzicht geven in de prestaties.
  • Je controleert het grootboek, bewaakt de datakwaliteit en levert tijdig rapportering op, in lijn met de afsluitkalender, de boekhoudnormen en het bedrijfsbeleid.
  • Je ondersteunt de consolidatie en groepsrapportering waar nodig.
  • Je versterkt de interne controles en financiële processen, zodat het bedrijf kan vertrouwen op zijn financiële informatie.

Planning, performance & business partnering

  • Je coördineert de gedetailleerde jaarlijkse budgetronde: je bouwt de tijdslijn op en organiseert samen met Marketing, Sales en andere collega's overlegmomenten om data te verzamelen.
  • Je bereidt periodieke forecasts voor en analyseert afwijkingen en belangrijke prestatiedrivers.
  • Je berekent bonussen en commissies in samenwerking met Sales.
  • Je volgt kostenstructuren en financiële KPI's op, spoort efficiëntiewinsten op en vertaalt je bevindingen naar duidelijke aanbevelingen en actieplannen.
  • Je werkt samen met Sales, Customer Services en het management om onderbouwde, datagedreven beslissingen en procesverbeteringen te ondersteunen.

Finance beter en slimmer organiseren

  • Je identificeert kansen om financiële processen, rapportering en interne controles te vereenvoudigen en te verbeteren, en kijkt mee naar de processen in het hele bedrijf.
  • Je rolt je mouwen op om praktische verbeteringen door te voeren en repetitieve taken te automatiseren.
  • Je verkent en experimenteert met digitale tools en AI om de efficiëntie, nauwkeurigheid en datakwaliteit binnen Finance te verhogen.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in Finance, Accounting, Economie of een verwante richting.
  • Je hebt 3 tot 4 jaar ervaring als controller in een corporate, dynamische omgeving.
  • Gedegen kennis van Belgian GAAP en financiële rapportering is een must.
  • Je beheerst Excel op gevorderd niveau en hebt ervaring met boekhoud- en consolidatiesoftware.
  • Je bent AI-savvy: je gebruikt AI-tools met overtuiging en ziet kansen om ze in finance in te zetten.
  • Je bent zelfredzaam, procesmatig sterk en komt zelf met initiatieven af.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en het Engels (Frans is leuk, maar geen must).
