Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Accounting Manager :

Accounting & Financiële Rapportering

  • Instaan voor een correcte en tijdige financiële rapportering voor alle Benelux-entiteiten.
  • Coördineren van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Beheren van statutaire rapporteringen en de opmaak van jaarrekeningen.
  • Toezien op naleving van lokale boekhoudkundige, fiscale en btw-verplichtingen.
  • Waarborgen van sterke financiële controles en reconciliaties.
  • Fungeren als centraal aanspreekpunt voor interne en externe audits.

Teamleiding & Ontwikkeling

  • Leiden, coachen en ontwikkelen van de accountingteams in Berchem en Vottem.
  • Creëren van een cultuur van verantwoordelijkheid, samenwerking en continue verbetering.
  • Zorgen voor efficiënte werkmethodes en duidelijke verantwoordelijkheden binnen het team.
  • Ondersteunen van de professionele ontwikkeling van medewerkers.

Procesverbetering & Transformatie

  • Standaardiseren en optimaliseren van accountingprocessen binnen de Benelux.
  • Versterken van interne controles en financiële compliance.
  • Stimuleren van automatisering, digitalisering en efficiëntieprojecten.
  • Deelnemen aan finance-transformatie-, systeemimplementatie- en veranderingsprojecten.

Stakeholdermanagement

  • Samenwerken met Finance-leiderschap en belangrijke business stakeholders.
  • Nauw samenwerken met Controlling, Treasury, Supply Chain en andere afdelingen.
  • Bijdragen aan cross-functionele projecten met aandacht voor compliance en governance.

Over jou :

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Finance, Accountancy of een verwante richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 7 jaar ervaring binnen Accounting of Finance, inclusief teammanagement.
  • Je beschikt over sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden en haalt energie uit het coachen en ontwikkelen van medewerkers.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een multi-entity en/of internationale omgeving.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van accountingregelgeving; IFRS-kennis is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met btw, vennootschapsbelasting en wettelijke rapporteringsvereisten.
  • Je hebt ervaring met procesoptimalisatie- en transformatieprojecten.
  • Je werkt vlot met SAP of een vergelijkbaar ERP-systeem.
  • Je combineert analytisch inzicht met een pragmatische en oplossingsgerichte aanpak.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Engels en Frans.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een internationale omgeving met diverse stakeholders.
  • Je bent bereid regelmatig te reizen tussen Berchem en Vottem.
