ABOUT ROCKET LAB

Rocket Lab is the end-to-end space company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems that keep the world connected, protected, expand humanity’s reach to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. We move fast, build real hardware for meaningful missions, and make the impossible routine. Come shape the future with us.

ABOUT INVENTORY COORDINATOR AT ROCKET LAB

Rockets don't get built without the right parts. As Rocket Lab's Inventory Coordinator, you'll manage thousands of components and hundreds of orders, delivering them just-in-time to the teams who need them.

You'll help Operations hit daily and weekly production targets, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and champion DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) performance. If you thrive on precision, pace, and problem-solving, this is your chance to play a hands-on role in space.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Receive and manage stock: Receipt inwards goods and manage FIFO stock rotation in line with our SOPs
  • Keep inventory accurate: Complete daily cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and make sure our ERP system (LN) matches what's on the shelf
  • Fuel production: Deliver components, kits, Kanban, and raw materials to the shop floor on time and in line with production priorities
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch: Get orders out the door quickly and accurately, and complete logistics runner tasks
  • Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse using 5S principles, and work with other teams to clear bottlenecks
  • Deliver great service: Be a friendly, professional point of contact for walk-up customers

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years in a stores, warehouse, or inventory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems and the ability to pick up new ones quickly
  • Sharp attention to detail and a highly organized, methodical approach
  • Confidence working independently and juggling shifting priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for building great working relationships
  • A proactive, team-first attitude, with flexibility to work extra hours when needed

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience handling both inwards and outwards goods
  • Hands-on experience with stock management and quality control processes
  • A background in aerospace, aviation, or automotive industries

If this sounds like you then apply now.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’re on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that’s not an easy task. It takes hard work, determination, relentless innovation, teamwork, grit, and an unwavering commitment to achieving what others often deem impossible. Our people out-think, out-work, and out-pace. We pride ourselves on having each other’s backs, checking our egos at the door, and rolling up our sleeves on all tasks big and small. We thrive under pressure, work to tight deadlines, and our focus is always on how we can deliver, rather than dwelling on the challenges that stand in the way.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
