You will work on real product marketing and launch initiatives, translating technical concepts into clear materials for customers, sales teams, and other partners. This is a strong fit if you are pursuing an engineering degree and want to explore work beyond a traditional design-engineering role.

You will join the Supply of Power business and collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and regional marketing teams. You will work onsite in Milwaukee, WI at the start of the internship, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule as you become established in the role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product marketing strategies, product launches, and go-to-market materials for industrial power solutions.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, technical content, application stories, and white papers.
  • Develop clear customer value propositions and messaging that explains the value of Rockwell Automation solutions.
  • Conduct competitive product, market, customer-needs, and emerging-technology research.
  • Support field sales teams with product information, training, and customer-facing materials.
  • Develop customer success stories, case studies, and content for Automation Fair®, ROKLive, and other industry events.
  • Support digital marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, reputation-building, and customer awareness programs.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product management, sales, and regional marketing teams on multiple projects.
  • Help translate technical concepts into information that customers and non-technical audiences can understand.
  • Contribute to project-based work that may include customer or field exposure and hands-on technical assignments.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Active enrollment in a Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technical Marketing, or a related technical discipline.
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Interest in industrial automation, electrical power, manufacturing, product management, or technical marketing.
  • Previous internship, co-op, academic project, technical writing, presentation, or leadership experience.
  • Experience developing or presenting technical content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or working across different functional teams.
  • Interest in combining engineering knowledge with customer, business, and marketing strategy.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
