About Rocoto

At Rocoto, we design and develop wireless video solutions that bring reliability, simplicity, and precision to medical and industrial environments. Our technology enables zero-latency, high-quality wireless video transmission, so users can view, share, and manage live video with confidence and clarity.

Position Overview

We are looking for an RF & Regulatory Compliance Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. You’ll take an active part in the regulatory, compliance, and certification work for our 5–6 GHz wireless video platforms. You’ll work closely with HW, RF, and system engineers, and with external test labs, to help bring our medical-grade products to global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Certification: Take part in product compliance, pre-compliance, and certification activities for global market release (FCC, CE/RED, ISED, MIC, etc.), with a focus on 5–6 GHz Wi-Fi and BLE.

In-House Testing: Set up and run RF and EMC tests in our own lab, both as pre-compliance before formal lab testing and as part of EU (RED) self-declaration.

External Test Labs: Work with accredited test houses: prepare test plans, setups, and samples, attend tests on-site, and help troubleshoot failures.

RF & SAR Testing: Prepare and run RF and RF-exposure test campaigns, including SAR, and analyze the results.

Medical Compliance: Support testing according to medical standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2 EMC) and wireless regulatory requirements.

Design for Compliance: Join design reviews with the HW and RF teams from early stages, and help identify and solve EMC and RF issues.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain regulatory technical files, test plans, test reports, and compliance declarations.

Requirements

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in RF/EMC compliance, regulatory engineering, RF testing, or hardware integration.

Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi regulatory testing and certification in the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands (e.g., FCC Part 15.407 / U-NII, DFS and TPC, 6 GHz LPI, ETSI EN 301 893 / EN 303 687).

Good working knowledge of FCC, CE (RED), and EMC/safety standards.

Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.).

Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts.

Fluent English, written and spoken.

Advantages:

Experience working at one of Israel’s RF/EMC test labs (Hermon Laboratories, ITL – Israel Testing Laboratories, the Standards Institution of Israel).

BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) regulatory testing.

SAR testing experience.

RF engineering background, or academic RF/microwave courses.

Medical device compliance (IEC 60601 series; exposure to FDA 510(k), EU MDR, ISO 13485).

Experience with high-speed digital or video transmission systems (e.g., HDMI, SDI).

Background as an RF/electronics technician or engineer in an IDF technological unit.

Full-time position based at our Ra’anana offices

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
