The posting

Home Daily Driver | Landover, MD

Finish your shift, head home, and sleep in your own bed. This local grocery run keeps you off the road overnight and pays well for it.

THE PAY

$33.29 an hour, with overtime kicking in after 40 hours a week. Most drivers land around $1,800 a week, or about $95,000 a year, paid weekly.

THE SCHEDULE

Five days on, two days off in a row, with weekends required. Shifts start in the afternoon or evening and run about 40 hours a week. This is a union operation, so shifts can change based on seniority.

THE WORK

You'll haul groceries in temperature-controlled trailers for a dedicated retail customer. Deliveries are driver-assist, using an electric pallet jack at the store. Equipment is an automatic late-model day cab or sleeper.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid Class A CDL

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years

• 22 or older with a clean background

• A profile set up in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse before hire

• English language proficiency
