An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Delivery Controller (CDC) to join the TFM Fleet Planning team in Derby.

In this role, you will work across the Trent 1000, Trent 7000 and Trent 900 programmes, providing broad exposure to multiple engine programmes and supporting customer delivery priorities across the business.

You will ensure that the best outcomes are achieved for Rolls-Royce and its customers, providing timely communication on delivery issues in accordance with governance processes and service levels.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead or facilitate cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to interface with customer-facing organisations and Operations, enabling planned prioritisation of issues across the Global Supply Chain to protect and optimise customer delivery performance and minimise impact.
  • Coordinate mitigation activities such as launching repair/rework of parts, investigating technical variation options, used material transfers and buy-back of parts, where applicable to the operation type.
  • Ensure credible and accurate information is maintained for customer-critical parts in executive systems and visual management tools.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and business process changes to prevent the recurrence of issues.
  • Where determined by local policy, recommend or enact, where authorised, stock transfers to optimise asset utilisation and minimise customer disruption.
  • Ensure process compliance through the use of company-standard systems, processes and reports to resolve potential delivery hazards.
  • Contribute to Communities of Practice and process improvement activities.

Position Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of ERP/SAP.
  • Experience of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics.
  • Good understanding of Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Experience working across functional boundaries and leading or facilitating multi-functional teams.
  • IT proficiency, including working knowledge of SAP (MRP/Sales & Distribution) and Excel.
  • Understanding of Demand Planning, Customer Order Process principles and Risk Management.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience supporting customer delivery activities within a complex manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Experience of managing critical parts shortages, delivery risks or supply chain mitigation activities.
  • Experience of root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
